EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. (AP) — Minnesota Vikings kicker Blair Walsh is the NFC Special Teams Player of the Week.

The award was announced Wednesday by the NFL. Walsh made all five field-goal attempts Sunday as the Vikings beat the New York Giants for a spot in the playoffs. Walsh made kicks of 52 and 53 yards. He missed an extra point but accounted for 19 of Minnesota's 49 points in the game.

Walsh has received the award five times in his four-year career, among eight Vikings players who've done so since 2011 under special teams coordinator Mike Priefer.

Walsh is 23 for 32 on field-goal attempts of 50-plus yards since 2012, the most in the league in that span.
