UPDATED – Head-on Wreck Near Oxbow Park

The Olmsted County Sheriff’s Department continues investigating a traffic wreck that happened late Friday afternoon near Oxbow Park.

 A spokesman says 24 year old Molly Riese of Mantorville was headed north on County Road 5 when an oncoming vehicle crashed head-on into her car.The other vehicle was passing another car in a no-passing zone when it caused the collision.

Riese was reported in good condition this morning.The St. Paul man driving the other car is in fair condition. A passenger in his car was apparently discharged over the weekend.

The third vehicle involved in the wreck ended up in a ditch. Its occupants were not seriously hurt.
