A man who was arrested in Rochester over the weekend on suspicion of DUI later became unresponsive at the county jail and ended up at St. Mary’s.

The man was pulled over about 3 a.m. Saturday after an officer spotted his vehicle weaving on North Broadway.  The man became belligerent and mace was used to subdue him.  While at the jail, the man struggled with staff members and then became unresponsive.

Gold Cross paramedics were called and he was revived.  But he later became unresponsive a second time and was taken to the St. Mary’s ER.  He was later returned to jail where he spent the weekend.  It’s not known what why he became unresponsive.

The man - 24 year old Felipe Ramirez-Reyes - is facing DUI and other charges.
