Rochester, MN  (KROC AM News) - A suspected DUI traffic stop in Rochester early Friday led to the arrest of a convicted drug dealer who was being sought on a warrant.

A vehicle was stopped in the 500 block of North Broadway around 1 a.m. and the female driver was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.

A passenger in the vehicle was identified as 49-year-old Wayne Moore of Rochester. When it was learned he was wanted on a state Department of Corrections warrant, he was taken into custody.

Moore was sentenced to seven years in prison in 2011 on a conviction of selling drugs. And now he is facing more charges after a search of the vehicle turned up 35 grams of methamphetamine and other drug-related paraphernalia.

It was suspected he was under the influence of drugs when he was taken to jail.
