Oronoco, MN (KROC AM News) -  A Rochester man and his infant son were hurt Monday in a traffic wreck on Highway 52 in Oronoco.

The Minnesota State Patrol says a car driven by 33-year-old Jordan Grenell ran into the rear of a trailer being pulled by a semi-truck in the southbound lanes of the highway. Grenell and his son were taken to St. Marys Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.The driver of the truck was identified as 38-year-old Michael Gordey of Cloquet. The wreck happened around 9:00 AM and affected traffic until the scene was cleared.

About half an hour later, there was another crash on southbound Highway 52 just a few miles away.

The State Patrol says a car driven by 55-year-old Julie Altrichter of Pine Island crashed into the rear of another vehicle. She was not hurt. The driver of the other car was 59-year-old Sol Schwartz of Eagan. He and a passenger, 60-year-old Tatyana Schwartz of Eagan, were taken to St. Marys Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
