Undated (KROC AM News) - There have been two more fatal motorcycle wrecks in Minnesota.

One happened Wednesday night in Anoka County. Authorities say the male driver lost control of his motorcycle on a curve, hit a sign and ended up in a ditch. He died at the scene of the wreck that happened in the town of Bethel. The man’s name has not been released yet.

The other deadly wreck happened around 1 a.m. Thursday in St Paul.  The State Patrol says 47 year old Randy Thill of St. Paul was driving on Highway 61 near Lower Afton Road when he left the roadway and went into the median where he ran into a cable barrier. He was taken to a hospital where he died.

So far this year, there have been 32 reported motorcycle fatalities in the state, about twice the number from this time a year ago. Public safety officials say the start of this year’s riding season has been the deadliest the state has experienced since record keeping on motorcycle accidents began in 1994.
