(KROC AM News) - Two people were killed Friday afternoon in a traffic wreck in Goodhue County.

The Minnesota State Patrol says a van was westbound on Highway 61 east of Miesville around 3 p.m. when it collided with an SUV that was driving south on Highway 316. Both drivers died.

The driver of the van was 76-year-old Maxine Jellum of Morristown.

The driver of the SUV was 73-year-old Betty Ramthun of Goodhue. A  passenger in her vehicle -  72-year-old Daniel Ramthun of Goodhue -  suffered non-life threatening injuries.

One person was killed in a rollover wreck in Dodge County Saturday.

The State Patrol says the driver of a pickup truck apparently lost control on an icy stretch of Highway 14 and rolled.

The name of the 42-year-old Rochester woman who was killed has not been released yet.

The wreck happened around 10 a.m. east of Dodge Center
