Twins Expected To Announce Football At Target Field In 2017

Minneapolis, MN (Learfield)  --  Multiple sources are reporting the two teams involved in the first-ever college football game at Target Field will be rivals St. John's and St. Thomas.

 A news conference is scheduled for Monday to announce the game for next season.  The field would be configured either right in the middle of the baseball diamond, or from left field to right field.  Target Field has never been home to a football game, college or pro.  

The games between the two in-state rivals have drawn big crowds in the past, but when it is held in Target Field, it could set some records.
