Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - A trial date has been set for one of the three people charged in connection with the murder of a Rochester man last September.

Jury selection is scheduled to begin on April 15th in the case of 24-year-old Kiehlah Parsons. She previously entered not guilty pleas to second-degree murder charges stemming from the shooting death of 38-year-old Brandon Arndt. Police investigators say he was fatally shot when he answered a knock on the door to his residence at Bob’s trailer park in southeast Rochester in the early hours of September 10th.

Parsons is accused of being with 27-year-old Malcomb Woods when he allegedly fired the shots that killed Arndt. The two are cousins, and a third cousin, 20-year-old Damien Klindworth-Woods is accused of serving as their driver and is also facing murder charges. He and Woods are currently scheduled to appear at evidentiary hearings later this month.

The criminal complaints allege the three cousins mistakenly believed Arndt had harmed their elderly grandmother, who also lived at the mobile home park along Marion Road Southeast.
