Traffic Wreck Near Mankato Kills One, Injures Two

(Judson Township, MN) - A southern Minnesota woman is dead after a crash involving a motorhome and a vehicle Friday afternoon west of Mankato.

The Blue Earth County Sheriff's Office says a car driven by 70-year-old Mary Blank of Nicollet collided with an RV driven by 57-year-old Dale Baertsch of Carver at the intersection of County Roads 11 and 50.

Blank died at the scene. Baertsch and his nine-year-old grandson were taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries. A third passenger in the motorhome wasn't hurt.

Investigators are trying to determine the cause of the crash.
