Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - A traffic stop in Rochester involving a suspected impaired motorist led to the arrest of an Elgin woman on felony drug charges last night.

Olmsted County Sheriff’s Captain Scott Behrns says a deputy on patrol initiated the traffic stop shortly before 11 pm after he spotted a vehicle with heavily tinted windows make an illegal lane change and then stop for a green light at the intersection of South Broadway and 16th Street Southwest. The deputy noted signs of impairment while speaking with 48-year-old Jennifer Tucker, who was driving on a revoked license and was wanted on a warrant in a misdemeanor theft case.

Behrns says the deputy was placing her under arrest when Tucker surrendered a meth pipe hidden in her bra, and a search of her purse led to the seizure of over 17 grams of methamphetamine and materials associated with the sale of the drug.
