Three Big Winners in Powerball Drawing
Undated (KROC AM News) -There were three winning tickets in Wednesday night’s record $1.6 billion Powerball jackpot - one in California, one in Florida and the third in Tennessee.
There were over 26 million tickets that won non-jackpot prizes totaling nearly $274 Million. About 380,000 of those winning tickets were sold in Minnesota, including 12 that won third place prizes worth $50,000.
Around the country, there were 23 tickets that matched all numbers but the powerball to win $1 million and some had power play tickets that doubled that amount.
