MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Two women who were sexually harassed by the University of Minnesota's former athletics director have come forward.

The university identified the women in a joint statement Thursday as Erin Dady (DAY'-dee) and Ann Aronson. Both are high-level administrators at the school.

Their identities were not disclosed after Norwood Teague's surprise resignation last week. The school later said Teague was accused of groping the women and making lewd and inappropriate comments in text messages at an unspecified event.

Aronson and Dady say they intended to stay private. But they say Teague sent an email to colleagues about when the incident happened, making it easy for their identities to be discovered.

Both women are now asking for privacy.

Teague's conduct has prompted the school to launch an investigation of the athletics department.
