Stewartville Area Crash Sends One to Hospital, Driver to Jail
Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A Stewartville-area woman was injured in a weekend traffic wreck and the driver of the vehicle she was riding was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol.
The Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office says 20-year-old Jacob Janet of rural Rochester crashed his pickup truck at the intersection of County Roads 6 and 8 in High Forest Township around 6:30 Saturday morning.
He and his passenger, 23-year-old Danielle Nord, were taken to St. Mary’s Hospital.
Janet was later taken into custody. Nord was reported in good condition Monday morning.
