Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A Spring Valley woman who skipped a court date for sentencing in a drug case has been given a three year prison term.

The attorney for 36-year-old Lisa Phillips had sought probation for her 2016 Olmsted County conviction.

A warrant was issued for her arrest after she was a no-show for last week’s sentencing hearing. Rochester police who were after a man wanted in a domestic assault case found him Wednesday - and Phillips just happened to be with him.

Officers found she had an ounce of methamphetamine in her possession and she is now facing new charges.
