Rochester’s Chair Affair Brings in $302k

The Rochester Boys and Girls Club is reporting last Saturday’s fundraiser known as A Chair Affair was a huge success.

The event attracted 570 people and the 50 chairs that were auctioned off brought in $302,000. That was $7,000 more than last year.

The highest bid was $2,000 for a Victorian couch.

The fundraiser is one of the largest held by the non-profit organization.
