Rochester Woman Accused of Cashing Stolen Business Checks
Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A Rochester woman was arrested Tuesday after trying to cash a check that had been stolen from a local business. And, police say she did the same thing a week earlier.
Arrested was 22-year-old Alie Staven.
Officers were called to a local bank when Staven tried cashing an $8200 check. The officers were told Staven had cashed a $4,000 check at the bank the week before.
Both checks had been stolen from a Rochester law firm.
