Rochester,MN (KROC AM News ) -  A Rochester teenager has pleaded guilty to first-degree assault for his involvement in a large brawl outside a Rochester home in June 2013.

19-year-old Anthony Canty had faced an additional three counts of felony assault and a riot charge in connection with the altercation, which broke out after he and another teenager arrived at the house with a friend who had earlier been asked to leave a party at the residence. During the melee, one person was struck by a club and suffered a life-threatening brain injury that required emergency surgery.

One of the two other other teenagers charged in the case was previously sentenced to 78 months in prison, while the case against the third teenager is still pending.

Canty is scheduled to be sentenced in June.
