Rochester Schools Closed Tuesday

Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) -  Rochester Public Schools are closed today as are a number of other events and activities.

School Age Child Care will be open 8:30am-4pm at Northrop Education Center

All PAIIR and Preschool daytime classes for early childhood are canceled

All daytime Community Education classes for youth, adults, and adults with exceptional abilities are canceled

Hawthorne Education Center is closed.

Professional Growth Academy classes are canceled.

Due to current forecast predictions, RPS may still keep some of our afternoon and evening activities as scheduled. A decision will come Tuesday morning.

Community building reservations for the evening are still scheduled as normal
After school activities and athletics are still scheduled as normal
Evening Community Education classes for youth, adults, and adults with exceptional abilities are scheduled as normal

Rochester Public Transit buses will follow the normal schedule. Riders who usually wait at stops located on hills are asked to wait either at the top or bottom of the hill. Riders should expect some delays and build in extra time today. Use caution when walking to your stop as some untreated surfaces may be icy.
