Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - A Rochester man was recently sentenced to a little over three years in prison for his involvement in a shooting earlier this year.

20-year-old Adrick Mims earlier pleaded guilty to a felony count of Aiding an Offender - Accomplice After the Fact stemming from his arrest in June after an apparent road rage incident on Marion Road.

The charges in the case alleged Mims was driving a car when the passenger in his vehicle fired a gun at another motorist, who called 911. The responding officer found a semi-automatic handgun after he stopped Mims a few blocks away from the site of the shooting.

His 39-month prison term will run concurrently with a 36-month sentence for Mim’s involvement in a violent home invasion in February and a 28-month prison term for a simple robbery conviction connected to a shoplifting incident that occurred the same day as the shooting.
