Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - The Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public’s help in trying to locate the driver of a vehicle that struck and killed a Rochester man Wednesday night.

The victim was found in the northbound lane of North Broadway/Highway 63 just north of the 48th Street intersection around 10:30.

The man has been identified as 21-year-old Ramiz Hamzagic, who apparently lived at the nearby Hallmark Terrace Court mobile home park.

Captain Scott Behrns says Hamzagic had been riding a motorized bicycle and it’s believed he was in the northbound lane when he was struck. He says investigators are also trying to determine if a second vehicle may have hit the victim.

Behrns says a blinking red light was found near the bike. He says there were no skid marks and no real evidence to indicate what type of vehicle struck the victim.
