Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A man who Rochester police suspect has been “having issues” was arrested Tuesday after reportedly trying to force a woman into his vehicle.

Officers were called to a North Broadway apartment complex around 8 a.m. by a woman who reported the incident. The 61-year-old told officers she was getting ready to go to church when the man drove up. She says he told her,  “Don’t say anything. You’re coming with me” and tried to force her into his vehicle. She was able to get the attention of some other tenants and the man drove off.

Police later located and arrested 58-year-old Thomas Roetzler.

The woman told police she had invited him to her apartment on one occasion but that was the only contact she had with him.
