Rochester Domestic Assault Leads to Three Arrests
Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - Three people were arrested by Rochester police early Thursday after they responded to a domestic assault case. One of those arrested was the apparent victim of the assault.
Officers were sent to an apartment in the 2300 block of Highway 14 East around 2:00 AM to check a report of a woman screaming.
They learned 23-year-old Desirae Frank had been punched in the head by 32-year-old Kevin Mitchell. As officers were taking him into custody, Frank confronted them and told them she didn’t want him arrested. Police say when Frank kicked one of the officers in the groin, she was arrested.
A third person who was there was very intoxicated and indicated he would get a ride home. Instead, 27-year-old Marcos Olivares began walking on Highway 14 and he was arrested after spitting twice on an officer who tried to get him off the roadway.
