Rochester Couple Facing Drug Charges
Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A narcotics search warrant was executed at a Rochester apartment last Friday morning and officers seized quantities of methamphetamine, cocaine and marijuana - and made a disturbing discovery.
Olmsted County Sheriff Department Captain Scott Behrns says a loaded handgun was found in a backpack on a couch - next to a 4 year old boy. Behrns says the drugs were valued at $7,000. Also confiscated was $1,000 in suspected drug money.
Arrested were 29 year old Derek Cobb and 22 year old Sarah Walsh. They were expected to be arraigned Monday. Their apartment is located in a fourplex in the 3200 block of Highway 52 North.
