Rochester, MN  (KROC AM News) - Seven new commuter buses have been added to Rochester’s public fleet.  

The city publicly introduced the new models Tuesday.

Each bus cost nearly $440,000. They can accommodate up to 38 passengers and have a low floor design. The buses are wheelchair accessible and include ramps and wheelchair positions.

It was also announced that Rochester Public Transit is expected add two new services soon. One is an electronic fare system, scheduled to be operational next month. A real time bus information system is scheduled to be operational during the first quarter of next year.
