Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - A Rochester man will likely spend the rest of his life on probation for his latest drug conviction.

50-year-old Wayne Moore recently pleaded guilty to a second degree drug charge as part of a plea agreement that resulted in the dismissal of five other felony drug counts. Olmsted County Judge Joseph Chase placed him probation for up to 40 years and was given a stayed prison term of just over six years that could be imposed if he fails to meet the terms of his probation.

Moore was wanted on a warrant issued by the Minnesota Department of Corrections stemming from a previous drug conviction when he was allegedly caught in possession of 35 grams of methamphetamine last spring. The drugs were found after the car he was in was stopped by police and the female driver was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.
