Rochester MN (KROC AM News) - Two longtime members of the Rochester Downtown Alliance board of directors have departed and six newcomers are being welcomed to the organization.

Mark Steege and Steve Courts served on the board for 7 years. Steege works with Titan Development and Courts is executive director of the Rochester Area Family Y.

Among the new members are Jay Hesley who is chief of staff at UMR and Mark Currie, co-owner of Creative Cuisine.

The RDA was formed in 2005 to promote downtown businesses and other entities and oversees the popular Thursdays on First and Third event that runs during the summer season.
