Litchfield, MN (Townsquare Media/WJON) - A human skull, marijuana and over $1,000 in cash were found after a call of an unresponsive man in Meeker County.

The Sheriff’s Office says the incident happened Tuesday just after 9:40 a.m. at a rural home about 5 miles northwest of Litchfield. 77-year-old James Webster was found dead at the scene. He was a resident at the home and was determined to have died of natural causes.

While emergency crews were at the scene, a large amount of marijuana was seen. Authorities obtained and used a search warrant. They found over 10 pounds of marijuana, over $1,000 cash and what appeared to be a human skull. The skull was taken and will be examined by the Midwest Medical Examiner’s Office.

A 70-year-old woman residing in the home remains under investigation relating to the drug case. A seperate investigation was launched to find the origin of the skull.
