Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) -  A Rochester man who was waiting to begin serving his prison sentence for two armed robberies got himself into more trouble at the Olmsted County jail last week.

The Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office says 25-year-old Byron Rush squirted a mixture of urine and feces into the face of a detention deputy when she opened his cell door.

The deputy accidentally swallowed some of the mixture that was in a shampoo bottle. She was later checked out by medical personnel.

Rush is now facing a felony assault charge in the case. He was sent to prison the day after this incident.

He was recently sentenced to 6 ½ years in prison for the robbery convictions. One involved the Fairfield Inn and Suites and the other was at a local tanning business. Both happened last December.
