Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - It was not a good start for Rochester’s three public high school football teams as they opened the 2017 season Friday night.  

All three lost their openers.

Winona dominated John Marshall 50-14. Century was held scoreless by Mankato West, losing 28-0. And, Mayo fell 40-21 to Austin.

Rochester Lourdes opened the season Thursday night and won a thrilling game against Zumbrota-Mazeppa at home by a score of 22-19. The Eagles scored the winning TD with 21 seconds to go.
