Fleck spent a lot of time on the phone after his formal introduction Friday, getting six of his Western Michigan recruits to follow him to Minnesota.  Those flipping their commitment to the Gophers include three-star wide receiver Christopher Bell, three-star linebacker Trenton Guthrie, three-star quarterback Tanner Morgan, three-star offensive lineman John Michael Schmitz, two-star defensive ends Noah Hickcox and Esezi Otomewo.

Rivals-dot-com now ranks Minnesota's recruiting class 49th in the nation.  It was 77th.
