Rochester, MN  (KROC AM News) - It’s being called “the biggest drug bust in the Rochester area” in the last few years.

The Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office Wednesday announced the roundup of suspected drug dealers took place Tuesday and led to the arrests of 15 people.

Some of those charged in what was called “Operation Spring Cleaning” were already in custody.

A total of 27 suspects (photos from Olmsted County ADC) were named in the investigation.

The suspects were described as “mid-level dealers” who operated in the Rochester area and elsewhere in southeast Minnesota. Investigators say they mainly dealt in methamphetamine but also sold heroin.

A spokesman says there may be more arrests
