A St. Paul man just made snow blowing a lot easier and a lot more fun!

Ryan Butler used a 3D printer to print and build a remote controlled snow blower.

"The snowblower is almost entirely made of plastic and powered by six 12-volt batteries," reports MPR, though it matches the power and efficiency of a gas-powered snowblower. "Butler can raise and lower the plow, change the direction of the chute and drive the plow over almost any winter terrain."

The video displays the snowblower's power as it pulls a child in a sled. BMTN also quotes Butler as saying "I didn't show in the video but I can ride on top of the machine. It can handle like 300lbs on flat level terrain."

Butler's been interested in robotics and 3D printing since he was a kid.
