Minnesota Man Killed After Becoming Pinned Between Trailer and Dock

BUTTERFIELD, Minn. (AP) — A 55-year-old man is dead after authorities say he was pinned between a semi-trailer and a loading dock in southern Minnesota.

KEYC-TV reports the accident happened early Sunday morning.

The Watonwan County Sheriff's Office says David James Baumann was found dead at the loading dock of Butterfield Foods in Butterfield.

Investigators believe Baumann was retrieving paperwork from his truck around 2 a.m. when the vehicle rolled back, pinning him to the dock.

Authorities say neither the tractor nor trailer brakes were set in the "on" position.
