St Paul, MN (KROC AM News) - The Minnesota History Center has put Prince's iconic Purple Rain suit on display.The Center says fans can view it for free and leave a note on a memory wall.

 Prince artifacts can also be viewed from the MNHS collections online.

Chanhassen, MN (AP) - Some fans of music icon Prince received a memento from Paisley Park after a private celebration of his life.

Round purple boxes were given to some of the fans gathered on Saturday. Inside the boxes were a handout with a color photo of Prince and a black T-shirt with "3121" printed on them, the numbers referring to an album released by Prince in 2006.

His publicist said a small group of family, friends and musicians celebrated Prince's life in a private ceremony.

The 57-year-old singer died Thursday at his Paisley Park compound in suburban Minneapolis. An autopsy was done Friday but no cause has been announced.

Yvette Noel-Schure said in a statement Saturday that Prince's remains have been cremated and their "final storage" will be private.

The 57-year-old singer died Thursday at his Paisley Park compound in suburban Minneapolis. An autopsy was done Friday but no cause has been announced.

The publicist's statement said the cause of death remains unknown. It said it will be at least four weeks before results are released.
