MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Police are looking for whoever shot two women riding home in an Uber vehicle leaving downtown Minneapolis.

The shooting happened around 2:30 a.m. Sunday on westbound Interstate 394 at Dunwoody Boulevard.

WCCO-TV reports five women were riding home when someone fired multiple shots at the Uber vehicle. The women continued westbound, unaware of the shooting. As the vehicle approached Penn Avenue, more shots were fired into the back of the vehicle, hitting two of the women.

One woman was shot in the arm, and another in the back. Police say neither of the wounds appears to be life-threatening.

Both victims were taken by ambulance to Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis. Part of I-394 was shut down as police investigated the shooting.
