Litchfield, MN (KROC AM News) - A woman from Michigan is accused of being high on drugs when she ran a stop sign in central Minnesota earlier this year and crashed into the side of another vehicle, killing one person and seriously injuring several others.

Charges have been filed in Meeker County Court against 28-year-old Noelle Pridgen.

Tests show she had taken cocaine and marijuana before the April 15th crash near Litchfield. The vehicle she hit burst into flames and a woman inside was trapped and died. The victim’s husband and two young children were seriously injured. Pridgen and a passenger in her vehicle also suffered serious injuries.

She is facing criminal vehicular homicide and criminal vehicular operation charges. She is also accused of driving without insurance.

She was arraigned this week and at last check, was still in jail unable to post bail.
