Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A man and woman were arrested Sunday on drug-related and other charges in rural Olmsted County.

A deputy on patrol spotted two vehicles that had stopped on a road in Marion Township around 1:30 p.m. One of the vehicles was having mechanical problems.

As the deputy was talking to two people, a man got out of one of the vehicles and approached him.The deputy asked for the man’s ID and then discovered he had some brass knuckles. The deputy then drew his gun and ordered all four people onto the ground until backup officers arrived.  

The man with the brass knuckles was identified as 23-year-old Jordan Hoffman. It was also discovered he had 27 grams of methamphetamine and he was arrested. A woman who was with Hoffman was also taken into custody.
