Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - A Rochester man has pleaded guilty to charges connected to a violent domestic incident in December. 28-year-old Ricky Ellis was accused of throwing bleach on his girlfriend and repeatedly hitting the woman. The criminal complaint alleged that, at one point, Ellis was holding the woman to the ground and pouring bleach all over her body. In the end, she managed to escape and shower away the bleach.

The woman also told police Ellis threatened her with a knife before leaving her residence.

Ellis recently admitted to a felony count of Threats of Violence – Reckless Disregard Terror, and a misdemeanor vehicle theft charge through an agreement with prosecutors that resulted in the dismissal of a felony aggravated stalking charge and 2 other misdemeanor counts.

He is scheduled to be sentenced on May 7th.
