Lynx Take Game One in WNBA Semi-final Series
St. Paul, MN (Learfield) -- Minnesota star Maya Moore put up 31 points and eight rebounds as the Lynx rolled past the Phoenix Mercury 113-95 in Game One of the W-N-B-A semifinals last night in St. Paul.
The Lynx led by as many as 25 points to open the best-of-five series with a win. Lindsay Whalen added 19 points and seven assists for top-seed Minnesota, which has beat Phoenix in all four meetings this season. Sylvia Fowles added 16 points and 10 boards.
The Lynx host Game Two on Friday, also at the Xcel Energy Center.
