Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A power outage at the Olmsted County Government Center Thursday morning disrupted court and other activities.

The electrical problem occurred at 7:50 AM and affected a section of the building, including the Law Enforcement Center.

Officials were told it would be more efficient to cut off all power to the county section of the building to make necessary repairs. Power was cut to the county section just after 9:00 AM.

 

Repairs were made and power was restored just before 11:00 AM.

Many government employees did not become aware of the planned outage until after 8:30 AM.
