Cubs fans are all over the country, especially when the team wins a World Series! Evidenced by the fact that over 700 fans showed up to get a look and take a pic with the trophy in Mason City Tuesday.

According to Eric Shoars, one of our Townsquare Media Sales Reps and a Cubs fan, the event wasn't supposed to begin until 6 o'clock but there were over 200 fans in line by 4:00 so they opened the doors at 5.

The first 500 people were given wristbands which guaranteed they'd get a picture taken with the trophy.

If you weren't able to see it, don't worry they should get another one by 2124 if history proves right.
