Clarissa, MN (Townsquare Media/WJON) - A Clarissa man is dead after suffering a medical emergency during a house fire.
The incident happened Monday just after 9:30 p.m. at 41277 201st Avenue in Todd County.

The Sheriff’s Office, Clarissa and Bertha Fire Departments responded to the call. The owner of the home, 68-year-old David Supper, suffered a medical emergency during the incident and was treated by fire departments at the scene. He was taken to Tri-County Hospital in Wadena by ambulance where he was later pronounced dead.

The Clarissa Fire Department was on scene for four hours putting out the blaze. The incident is under investigation by the Todd County Sheriff’s Office and State Fire Marshall.
