Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A Rochester man, who was arrested in late May for sexually assaulting a Rochester teenager while he was on probation for a previous sexual assault, went before an Olmsted County judge Friday and pleaded guilty to a third-degree criminal sexual conduct charge. In exchange, prosecutors dropped a second count involving the use of force or coercion.

26-year-old Douglas Lee was arrested two days after the 15-year-old girl was assaulted at Oxbow Park near Byron. Police were alerted to the crime after the teenage victim went to St. Mary’s Hospital and reported that she had been sexually assaulted by a man that she had met at a Rochester restaurant.

Lee is scheduled to be sentenced on September 12th.
