MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Minnesota will host Miami in this year's Big Ten/ACC Challenge.

The matchups for the made-for-TV event were announced Thursday.

The Gophers will square off against the Hurricanes at Williams Arena in November. Dates and times were not announced.

It will be the third meeting between Minnesota and Miami, which split their previous two match-ups. Miami beat the Gophers 63-58 in Coral Gables in December 2009 as part of the Challenge, while Minnesota beat the Hurricanes 78-60 in the 2012 NIT Second Round, also on Miami's home court.

The Gophers have won three of four times under coach Richard Pitino in the Big Ten/ACC Challenge. Overall Minnesota is 9-9 since the annual event began in 1999.
