St. Cloud, MN (Learfield)  --  The Minnesota men's hockey team jumped out to a 2-0 first period lead, but couldn't hold it.  St. Cloud State scored three straight goals to sweep the non-league weekend home-and-home series with a 3-2 decision Saturday.

Mikey Eyssimont scored the game-winning goal for the Huskies with seven minutes left and the Gophers weren't able to even it up.  Jack Ramsey and Taylor Cammarata scored Minnesota's goals.  Jack Poehling and Jacob Benson scored for St. Cloud State.

Potomak Scores Another Game-Winner For Gophers In 2-1 Win

Columbus, OH (Learfield)  --  Sarah Potomak has eight goals for the Minnesota women's hockey team this season and five of them have been game-winners.  Her score at 6:42 in the third period Saturday night gave the Gophers a 2-1 win over Ohio State.

Minnesota (7-1, 5-1 WCHA) out-shot the Buckeyes 57-19 as coach Brad Frost earned his 300th victory.
