Minneapolis, MN (KROC-AM News) - The top-seeded Goodhue Wildcats are headed to the Class A championship game at the girl state high school basketball tournament.

Goodhue cruised past Wheaton/Herman-Norcross in the semifinals Friday afternoon with a 74-35 victory at Williams Arena. The Wildcats were led by Maddy Miller with 24 points, while Sydney Lodermeier scored 18.

The last time Goodhue appeared in the title game of the state tournament was 2010 when the Wildcats lost to Barnum.

Plainview-Elgin-Millville will be in action this evening in the Class AA semifinals against Roseau.
