ELIZABETH, Minn. (AP) — The Otter Tail County Sheriff's Office says five people are OK after their duck boat capsized and threw them into the water.

The 14-foot boat began taking on water and capsized on Christopherson Lake about 400 yards from shore Saturday.

Authorities say no life jackets were on board. A 15-year-old boy was able to swim to shore. Other hunters on shore heard the cries for help. One of them, a 24-year-old woman, grabbed life jackets and swam to the boat. On the way she gave a life jacket to one of the hunters swimming to shore. She took the rest to the other hunters who were hanging onto the boat.

Rothsay firefighters rescued the people hanging onto the boat. The boat's operator was arrested on suspicion of boating while intoxicated.
