Fire Destroys Building on Olmsted County Farm
Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A weekend fire destroyed a large shed on a farm in northeast Olmsted County.
The Olmsted County Sheriff’s Department says the fire was spotted by a passing motorist around 2:30 Saturday afternoon at 5938 County Road 10 NE, a farm owned by Ronald Klassen. The nearly 50 by 50 foot building was engulfed when fire crews arrived and could not be saved. Some farm machinery and other property in the shed were also lost.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
