St. Paul, MN (KROC-AM News) - The State Commission on Judicial Selection has named the three finalists for an open judgeship in southeastern Minnesota.

Brett Corson is the Fillmore County Attorney, Scott Springer is a private attorney who also works as the City Attorney for five communities in the region, and Carmaine Sturino is an Assistant Public Defender.

Gov. Mark Dayton will interview the three candidates before selecting a successor for retired Houston County Judge James Fabian in a few weeks.
